Rod is Co-Owner and General Manager at Real Property Management Consultants. He takes point working with investors and handles Marketing and Accounting. Rod and his wife are investors so they can relate to what rental owners experience first-hand.
Rod is very active in a local chapter of BNI – Kansas City Referral Masters, the Lee’s Summit Chamber of Commerce and at their church. He has a variety of hobbies but his favorite is travel – both in the states and overseas.
After a long career as an Exec in the corporate world leading service organizations, Rod brings a belief in strong customer service and open, honest communication to Real Property Management.
Deb is Co-Owner and responsible for Leasing Operations at Real Property Management Consultants. She takes point working with tenants, from helping them find a place to live to staying in touch once they are placed into one of our properties. Deb meets each tenant at the home on their first day with a “Welcome Home” gift and walks them through all of the home’s features so they are comfortable.
Having 6 children in the home and balancing a variety of prior careers was a great training ground for Deb to coordinate our office logistics. Church is important to Deb having served in and led women’s groups over the years. She has a passion for travel and loves to go hiking in the mountains. She enjoys reading medical articles and Family Handyman Magazine looking for new ideas. Deb has a deep belief that service differentiates Real Property Management Consultants and works very hard to ensure service is a priority.
Caleb is a Field Technician at Real Property Management Consultants. He handles our vacant property turnovers by evaluating what needs to be done to get the property ready to be back on the market and then does carpentry, paint touchup, etc. – whatever is needed. He thoroughly evaluates our properties to ensure safety, compliance and helps to make things nice for the next tenant. Caleb also handles a portion of the photography attempting to capture the spirit of homes to best represent them in our online advertising. He also loves taking landscape photos.
Caleb has a degree in Graphic Arts and loves woodworking projects and spending time in his home workshop. Spending time with family is important to Caleb and he can often be found hanging out with his young nieces and nephews.
If you’ve called recently, you may have heard Joesela’s friendly voice answering the phone at Real Property Management Consultants. She does a great job answering questions or helping callers get to the person that can help them. She also handles the dozens of inquiries we get each day on vacant properties from people looking for a home in the Kansas City area. She helps them schedule times to go and view the properties and see if it is the right one for them. When not with a client or customer, Joesela does work ensuring any applications are complete and ready to be turned over to Leasing and also works on some of our backend processes like auditing to make sure everything is complete and documented where and how it should be.
Joesela’s favorite day of the week is Sunday as she gets to spend quality time her family. In her leisure time, she enjoys baking, cooking and looking for improvement opportunities by attending workshops and watching educational videos. All of these qualities and the passion she has for her work helps Joesela make a positive impact on our company.
Jacob is the Business Development Manager. In this role, he works directly with our Owners & Investors to give them a taste of what Real Property Management Consultants is about and to assist them through a seamless onboarding process. He introduces new clients to our proven processes, our team and loves the variety of people he gets to work with from first-time landlords to portfolio investors. He also helps support the team by conducting on-site evaluations as well as property showings.
Jacob is an avid traveler having visited all 50 states, over 50 countries and even met his wife, Anya, at a hostel while traveling in Turkey. He is very active and loves pushing himself – recently completing the original Marathon route in Greece, hiking Mt. Vesuvius and parasailing from over a mile in the air. He’s pretty good in English, but also speaks Spanish and Russian. In his free time, Jacob enjoys visiting local farmers markets with Anya, then cooking (and eating!) fresh, international dishes.
Brendan is our Associate Property Manager and the latest addition to the Real Property Management Consultants team! Brendan brings a wealth of enthusiasm and a strong passion for real estate and property management to our group. He takes point on triaging calls from tenants requesting maintenance and deploying our vendor partners when their services are needed.
Brendan is a certified BBQ judge and has experience as a Refugee Housing Coordinator, showcasing his diverse skill set and dedication to serving others. With a BA in Intercultural Studies, Brendan’s educational background informs his work in property management and community engagement.
Brendan’s personal goals include growing a multicultural church plant and becoming a well-rounded property manager, with aspirations of investing in real estate. In his free time, he enjoys reading and playing the guitar, which reflects his dedication to lifelong learning and creativity.
Brendan is also a dedicated volunteer, devoting most of his free time to developing the multicultural church and giving back to the community. He is a valuable asset to our team, and we’re thrilled to have him on board to help us serve our clients better and continue to raise the bar in property management.
